Terry Plasket resides in New Jersey, where he has been a potter for over thirty-five years. He has been the resident potter at Wheaton Arts, located in Millville, NJ, since 1979.
Prior to becoming a ceramic artist, Terry attended Jacksonville University, where he majored in biology. From 1976-1979 he attended Rowan University, where he majored in Ceramics.
Terry has been a Fellowship Recipient for the NJ State Council on the Arts. He also represented NJ in 2004 at the White House Christmas Ornament Invitational. Terry has attended numerous Juried Craft Fairs.
Rather than focus on ceramic art pieces for exhibits, Terry intends the function of his pieces to be for daily-use. He wants each unique vessel to be held, used, and loved by those who purchase his work.
